Bologna F.C. 1909 is a historic club in the city of Bologna, founded in 1909 by a group of university students. The 'Campus di calcio' exhibition celebrates the history of the club and the students who made it famous. The exhibition is organized in panels with texts and images and displays copies of documents from the Student Files preserved in the Historical Archive of Unibo and iconographic materials provided by Bologna FC 1909, the Real College of Spain and the Carisbo Foundation. A path that illustrates the biographies of some of those young students, coming from different social and geographical realities, united by the passion for the new game. The path also develops through the evolution of the game locations: from the temporary field at Prati di Caprara to the first city facilities, up to the realization of the Littoriale, today's Renato Dall'Ara Stadium, symbol of the definitive affirmation of football in public life in Bologna. The exhibition is completed by a selection of materials from the Umberto Costanzini Fund preserved in the Historical Archive of the University, which documents the planning of the city's sports spaces and testifies to the link between urban development and sports culture.
